वा॒ज॒यन्नि॑व॒ नू रथा॒न्योगा॑ँ अ॒ग्नेरुप॑ स्तुहि । य॒शस्त॑मस्य मी॒ळ्हुषः॑
vājayanniva nū rathānyogām̐ agnerupa stuhi yaśastamasya mīḷhuṣaḥ
Moving like cows the chariot-rein, praise the swift Agni; the fame of him is the friend’s delight.

यः सु॑नी॒थो द॑दा॒शुषे॑ऽजु॒र्यो ज॒रय॑न्न॒रिम् । चारु॑प्रतीक॒ आहु॑तः
yaḥ sunītho dadāśuṣe'juryo jarayannarim cārupratīka āhutaḥ
He who set forth the foot on the good path crushed the foe; he was called a fair exemplar, the strong striker of the enemy.

य उ॑ श्रि॒या दमे॒ष्वा दो॒षोषसि॑ प्रश॒स्यते॑ । यस्य॑ व्र॒तं न मीय॑ते
ya u śriyā dameṣvā doṣoṣasi praśasyate yasya vrataṃ na mīyate
He who, by glory, subdued opponents in contests, is praised whose vow was not false.

ā yaḥ sva1rṇa bhānunā citro vibhātyarciṣā añjāno ajarairabhi
He whose splendour shines like a golden sun, adorned with radiant beams, is ageless, imperishable in glory.

atrimanu svarājyamagnimukthāni vāvṛdhuḥ viśvā adhi śriyo dadhe
Atri’s progeny filled their own realm with Agni liberated; all riches they placed above.

agnerindrasya somasya devānāmūtibhirvayam ariṣyantaḥ sacemahyabhi ṣyāma pṛtanyataḥ
May Agni, Indra, and Soma, with the gods’ inspirations, come hither; approaching us they will grant the longed-for boon.
