suṣvāṇāsa indra stumasi tvā sasavāṃsaśca tuvinṛmṇa vājam ā no bhara suvitaṃ yasya cākantmanā tanā sanuyāma tvotāḥ
O Indra, praise be to you who make the noisy, the treaders of the vital force and the strength of the chariot. Come, fill us with good fortune; by whose might the mind-steeds are yoked, be near us.

ṛṣvastvamindra śūra jāto dāsīrviśaḥ sūryeṇa sahyāḥ guhā hitaṃ guhyaṃ gūḷhamapsu bibhṛmasi prasravaṇe na somam
O seer, you, Indra born mighty, dispel the captive foes like the sun’s beams. You conceal the hidden, you uphold what is secret in waters; do not let the Soma effusion be weakened in the outpouring.

aryo vā giro abhyarca vidvānṛṣīṇāṃ vipraḥ sumatiṃ cakānaḥ te syāma ye raṇayanta somairenota tubhyaṃ rathoḷha bhakṣaiḥ
Noble is the voice that worships the learned seers; the priest with good counsel made such offerings. May they be for us who urge the Soma up in fights; grant for you the chariots and the food of the strong.

These mighty Indras I praise for you—givers of cattle, heroic among men. May they be with you, powerful in deeds; protect and sustain the flocks and the hills.

śrudhī havamindra śūra pṛthyā uta stavase venyasyārkaiḥ ā yaste yoniṃ ghṛtavantamasvārūrmirna nimnairdravayanta vakvāḥ
Hear, Indra, the hymn, heroic one, and praise the splendid rays. May he who begot your source with clarified butter, with the sun’s beams, drive the lowly waters upward; the vocalists call, stirring the drops.
