yuje vāṃ brahma pūrvyaṃ namobhirvi śloka etu pathyeva sūreḥ śaṛṇvantu viśve amṛtasya putrā ā ye dhāmāni divyāni tasthuḥ
Harness the ancient Brahman extolled before, salutations with the verse that comes from the hero’s path. Let all listen—sons of immortality who dwell in the divine abodes.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 13 · Verse 10.13.2
yame iva yatamāne yadaitaṃ pra vāṃ bharanmānuṣā devayantaḥ ā sīdataṃ svamu lokaṃ vidāne svāsasthe bhavatamindave naḥ
Like Yama, when striving, and like that which fills the streams, those mortals gave themselves up to the gods. Sit down and make firm the world that was known; may the lord of the gods be favourable to us.

pañca padāni rupo anvarohaṃ catuṣpadīmanvemi vratena akṣareṇa prati mima etāmṛtasya nābhāvadhi saṃ punāmi
I mount the fivefold forms, the four-footed path, following the vow. By the imperishable word I measure this navel-locus of immortality and consecrate it to the pious.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 13 · Verse 10.13.4
devebhyaḥ kamavṛṇīta mṛtyuṃ prajāyai kamamṛtaṃ nāvṛṇīta bṛhaspatiṃ yajñamakṛṇvata ṛṣiṃ priyāṃ yamastanvaṃ1 prārirecīt
O gods, grant death for the sake of progeny as you once granted immortal life; let not immortality be denied. O Bṛhaspati, perform the sacrifice, make the rishi dear; stretch forth the Yama-limb and direct it aright.

Seven (powers) perish in the boy, Marut-like; sons have been born from the father, unrighteous. Both these, both those are of silver; both these push forth from the nourishing one.
