तं यु॑ञ्जाथां॒ मन॑सो॒ यो जवी॑यान्त्रिवन्धु॒रो वृ॑षणा॒ यस्त्रि॑च॒क्रः । येनो॑पया॒थः सु॒कृतो॑ दुरो॒णं त्रि॒धातु॑ना पतथो॒ विर्न प॒र्णैः
taṃ yuñjāthāṃ manaso yo javīyāntrivandhuro vṛṣaṇā yastricakraḥ yenopayāthaḥ sukṛto duroṇaṃ tridhātunā patatho virna parṇaiḥ
May he be united by mind who moves in three bands of comrades—the bull-like steed who ploughs, whose three-wheeled axle drives him on. By such device the well-ordered horse, difficult to yoke, was borne without leaves.

सु॒वृद्रथो॑ वर्तते॒ यन्न॒भि क्षां यत्तिष्ठ॑थः॒ क्रतु॑म॒न्तानु॑ पृ॒क्षे । वपु॑र्वपु॒ष्या स॑चतामि॒यं गीर्दि॒वो दु॑हि॒त्रोषसा॑ सचेथे
suvṛdratho vartate yannabhi kṣāṃ yattiṣṭhathaḥ kratumantānu pṛkṣe vapurvapuṣyā sacatāmiyaṃ gīrdivo duhitroṣasā sacethe
A well-driven chariot circles where the sky is broad; he stands where oblations are placed. I uphold this laudatory song, the milk of heaven, and the wellspring of rain with my voice.

आ ति॑ष्ठतं सु॒वृतं॒ यो रथो॑ वा॒मनु॑ व्र॒तानि॒ वर्त॑ते ह॒विष्मा॑न् । येन॑ नरा नासत्येष॒यध्यै॑ व॒र्तिर्या॒थस्तन॑याय॒ त्मने॑ च
ā tiṣṭhataṃ suvṛtaṃ yo ratho vāmanu vratāni vartate haviṣmān yena narā nāsatyeṣayadhyai vartiryāthastanayāya tmane ca
Stand ye firm, O righteous ones, who keep the vows and act as sacrificers; by whom men, praised for truth, prospered—so be the conduct that brings welfare to offspring and to the self.

मा वां॒ वृको॒ मा वृ॒कीरा द॑धर्षी॒न्मा परि॑ वर्क्तमु॒त माति॑ धक्तम् । अ॒यं वां॑ भा॒गो निहि॑त इ॒यं गीर्दस्रा॑वि॒मे वां॑ नि॒धयो॒ मधू॑नाम्
mā vāṃ vṛko mā vṛkīrā dadharṣīnmā pari varktamuta māti dhaktam ayaṃ vāṃ bhāgo nihita iyaṃ gīrdasrāvime vāṃ nidhayo madhūnām
Do not be wolves to us, do not seize us like she-wolves; do not surround us with hostile craft or harm us. This portion is set for you; this pleasant speech and the riches of honey are placed for you.

यु॒वां गोत॑मः पुरुमी॒ळ्हो अत्रि॒र्दस्रा॒ हव॒तेऽव॑से ह॒विष्मा॑न् । दिशं॒ न दि॒ष्टामृ॑जू॒येव॒ यन्ता मे॒ हवं॑ नास॒त्योप॑ यातम्
yuvāṃ gotamaḥ purumīḷho atrirdasrā havate'vase haviṣmān diśaṃ na diṣṭāmṛjūyeva yantā me havaṃ nāsatyopa yātam
You, Gótama, manly one, Atri the lovely chants the hymn here; the sacrificer offers the oblation. May not the region of the beasts be seen by us; let those who go forth not carry our prayer away.

अता॑रिष्म॒ तम॑सस्पा॒रम॒स्य प्रति॑ वां॒ स्तोमो॑ अश्विनावधायि । एह या॑तं प॒थिभि॑र्देव॒यानै॑र्वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम्
atāriṣma tamasaspāramasya prati vāṃ stomo aśvināvadhāyi eha yātaṃ pathibhirdevayānairvidyāmeṣaṃ vṛjanaṃ jīradānum
We have urged that hymn for you, radiant ones, as a remedy for his darkness, O Ashvins. Here are the paths found by the gods; I know this herd-sustaining, life-giving remedy.
