यद्ध॒ स्या त॑ इन्द्र श्रु॒ष्टिरस्ति॒ यया॑ ब॒भूथ॑ जरि॒तृभ्य॑ ऊ॒ती । मा नः॒ कामं॑ म॒हय॑न्त॒मा ध॒ग्विश्वा॑ ते अश्यां॒ पर्याप॑ आ॒योः
yaddha syā ta indra śruṣṭirasti yayā babhūtha jaritṛbhya ūtī mā naḥ kāmaṃ mahayantamā dhagviśvā te aśyāṃ paryāpa āyoḥ
What indeed was born that Indra may have heard, by which the ancients stood up exalted? Let not our desire be increased; all your powers reach out to us with their common prosperity.

न घा॒ राजेन्द्र॒ आ द॑भन्नो॒ या नु स्वसा॑रा कृ॒णव॑न्त॒ योनौ॑ । आप॑श्चिदस्मै सु॒तुका॑ अवेष॒न्गम॑न्न॒ इन्द्रः॑ स॒ख्या वय॑श्च
na ghā rājendra ā dabhanno yā nu svasārā kṛṇavanta yonau āpaścidasmai sutukā aveṣangamanna indraḥ sakhyā vayaśca
O Indra, you did not let the king be struck down; you made the two wombs (wives) fruitful. Indra, protector, you joined them, and became the friend of the sons.

जेता॒ नृभि॒रिन्द्रः॑ पृ॒त्सु शूरः॒ श्रोता॒ हवं॒ नाध॑मानस्य का॒रोः । प्रभ॑र्ता॒ रथं॑ दा॒शुष॑ उपा॒क उद्य॑न्ता॒ गिरो॒ यदि॑ च॒ त्मना॒ भूत्
jetā nṛbhirindraḥ pṛtsu śūraḥ śrotā havaṃ nādhamānasya kāroḥ prabhartā rathaṃ dāśuṣa upāka udyantā giro yadi ca tmanā bhūt
Indra, conqueror among men, brave in hosts, listener to the praise, did not let the sacrifice be slain; the chariot-driver, the ten-horseman, rose with speech—indeed he was born through his own spirit.

ए॒वा नृभि॒रिन्द्रः॑ सुश्रव॒स्या प्र॑खा॒दः पृ॒क्षो अ॒भि मि॒त्रिणो॑ भूत् । स॒म॒र्य इ॒षः स्त॑वते॒ विवा॑चि सत्राक॒रो यज॑मानस्य॒ शंसः॑
evā nṛbhirindraḥ suśravasyā prakhādaḥ pṛkṣo abhi mitriṇo bhūt samarya iṣaḥ stavate vivāci satrākaro yajamānasya śaṃsaḥ
Thus Indra among men, famed in glory, stood forth like a friend; he praised the ritual and declared the acts of the worshiper.

त्वया॑ व॒यं म॑घवन्निन्द्र॒ शत्रू॑न॒भि ष्या॑म मह॒तो मन्य॑मानान् । त्वं त्रा॒ता त्वमु॑ नो वृ॒धे भू॑र्वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम्
tvayā vayaṃ maghavannindra śatrūnabhi ṣyāma mahato manyamānān tvaṃ trātā tvamu no vṛdhe bhūrvidyāmeṣaṃ vṛjanaṃ jīradānum
By you, Maghavan Indra, we will strike enemies who think themselves great. You are our protector; grant us abundant power, this cattle, abundant and long-lived.
