आ च॑र्षणि॒प्रा वृ॑ष॒भो जना॑नां॒ राजा॑ कृष्टी॒नां पु॑रुहू॒त इन्द्रः॑ । स्तु॒तः श्र॑व॒स्यन्नव॒सोप॑ म॒द्रिग्यु॒क्त्वा हरी॒ वृष॒णा या॑ह्य॒र्वाङ्
ā carṣaṇiprā vṛṣabho janānāṃ rājā kṛṣṭīnāṃ puruhūta indraḥ stutaḥ śravasyannavasopa madrigyuktvā harī vṛṣaṇā yāhyarvāṅ
From the chariot‑seat the bull of strength, king of men, Indra, the sacrificer of fields, stood forth. Then, having yoked the bay bulls and adorned with stallions, the heroic plowman praised the chant of the brown bulls.

ये ते॒ वृष॑णो वृष॒भास॑ इन्द्र ब्रह्म॒युजो॒ वृष॑रथासो॒ अत्याः॑ । ताँ आ ति॑ष्ठ॒ तेभि॒रा या॑ह्य॒र्वाङ्हवा॑महे त्वा सु॒त इ॑न्द्र॒ सोमे॑
ye te vṛṣaṇo vṛṣabhāsa indra brahmayujo vṛṣarathāso atyāḥ tām̐ ā tiṣṭha tebhirā yāhyarvāṅhavāmahe tvā suta indra some
These your bulls, O Indra, bulls and bulls of strength, yoked to the might of Brahman, swift chariot‑bulls: come forward, stand by them; we proclaim you, O Indra, son of Soma.

आ ति॑ष्ठ॒ रथं॒ वृष॑णं॒ वृषा॑ ते सु॒तः सोमः॒ परि॑षिक्ता॒ मधू॑नि । यु॒क्त्वा वृष॑भ्यां वृषभ क्षिती॒नां हरि॑भ्यां याहि प्र॒वतोप॑ म॒द्रिक्
ā tiṣṭha rathaṃ vṛṣaṇaṃ vṛṣā te sutaḥ somaḥ pariṣiktā madhūni yuktvā vṛṣabhyāṃ vṛṣabha kṣitīnāṃ haribhyāṃ yāhi pravatopa madrik
Stand the chariot, the powerful bulls; Soma, the best, is yoked and fragrant with mead. Having yoked to the bulls of earth, O heroic, go forth with the chariot‑team and the draught of the press.

अ॒यं य॒ज्ञो दे॑व॒या अ॒यं मि॒येध॑ इ॒मा ब्रह्मा॑ण्य॒यमि॑न्द्र॒ सोमः॑ । स्ती॒र्णं ब॒र्हिरा तु श॑क्र॒ प्र या॑हि॒ पिबा॑ नि॒षद्य॒ वि मु॑चा॒ हरी॑ इ॒ह
ayaṃ yajño devayā ayaṃ miyedha imā brahmāṇyayamindra somaḥ stīrṇaṃ barhirā tu śakra pra yāhi pibā niṣadya vi mucā harī iha
This sacrifice is for the gods, this offering is placed — O Indra and Soma, these are the rites of Brahman. The bulls have passed beyond; Shakra (Indra) go forth, drink, seat yourself, loosed here.

ओ सुष्टु॑त इन्द्र याह्य॒र्वाङुप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि मा॒न्यस्य॑ का॒रोः । वि॒द्याम॒ वस्तो॒रव॑सा गृ॒णन्तो॑ वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम्
o suṣṭuta indra yāhyarvāṅupa brahmāṇi mānyasya kāroḥ vidyāma vastoravasā gṛṇanto vidyāmeṣaṃ vṛjanaṃ jīradānum
Praise him, O Indra, invoked with the chant; do not slight the doer of rites. Wealth, fame and the dwellings proclaim this, O Indra — I seek this bounty, the moving herd, with life‑giving thought.
