Stand the chariot, the powerful bulls; Soma, the best, is yoked and fragrant with mead. Having yoked to the bulls of earth, O heroic, go forth with the chariot‑team and the draught of the press.
Ascend your bounty-shedding car, for you the Soma, the showerer of benefits, is effused, the sweet libations are prepared. Bounty-shedding Indra, having harnessed them, come with your vigorous steeds for (the good of) mankind; come with your rapid (car) to my presence.
Ascend thy mighty car: the mighty Soma is poured for thee and sweets are sprinkled round us. Come down to us-ward, Bull of human races, come, having harnessed them, with strong Bay Horses.
