तस्य चापुत्रस्यातिनिर्वेदान मुनीनाम आश्रममण्डले निवसतः कृपालुभिस तैर मुनिभिर अपत्योत्पादनाय इष्टिः कृता। तस्यां च मध्यरात्रिनिवृत्तायां मन्त्रपूतजलपूर्णं कलशं वेदिमध्ये निवेश्य ते मुनयः सुषुपुः।।
tasya cāputrasyātinirvedān munīnām āśramamaṇḍale nivasataḥ kṛpālubhis tair munibhir apatyotpādanāya iṣṭiḥ kṛtā| tasyāṃ ca madhyarātrinivṛttāyāṃ mantrapūtajalapūrṇaṃ kalaśaṃ vedimadhye niveśya te munayaḥ suṣupuḥ||
The childless one, filled with great despair, performed a ritual in the hermitage of the sages, with the compassionate ones, to produce offspring. When the midnight ritual was completed, the sages placed a pot filled with sanctified water in the center of the altar and fell asleep.
