तस्यां चासौ क्रथकैशिकसंज्ञौ पुत्राव अजनयत। पुनस तृतीयं रोमपादसंज्ञं कुमारम अजीजनत। रोमपादाद बभ्रुः बभ्रोः पुत्रो धृतिः। धृतेः कैशिकः कैशिकस्यापि चेदिः पुत्रो ऽभूद यस्य संततौ चैद्या भूपालाः। क्रथस्य स्नुषापुत्रस्य कुन्तिर अभवत।।
tasyāṃ cāsau krathakaiśikasaṃjñau putrāv ajanayat| punas tṛtīyaṃ romapādasaṃjñaṃ kumāram ajījanat| romapādād babhruḥ babhroḥ putro dhṛtiḥ| dhṛteḥ kaiśikaḥ kaiśikasyāpi cediḥ putro 'bhūd yasya saṃtatau caidyā bhūpālāḥ| krathasya snuṣāputrasya kuntir abhavat||
He had two sons named Krathakaiśika. Again, he begot a third son named Romapāda. From Romapāda was born Babhru, and from Babhru was born Dhṛti. From Dhṛti was born Kaiśika, and from Kaiśika was born Cedi, whose descendants were the kings of Caidya. Kunti was born to the daughter of Kratha.
