May the prospering Soma, increasing, be offered to us; by whom our ancient fathers, with known paths, approached the gods and warmed the mountains with their rites.
May Soma the augmenter (of the gods), self-augmenting, being purified, the showerer (of benefits), protect us by his radiance; through whom our forefathers, tracing the footmarks, cognizant of all things, stole the cattle from the rock.
He, being cleansed, the Strengthener and Increaser, Soma the Bounteous, helped us with his lustre, Wherewith our sires of old who knew the footsteps found light and stole the cattle from the mountain.
