सोमः॑ पवते जनि॒ता म॑ती॒नां ज॑नि॒ता दि॒वो ज॑नि॒ता पृ॑थि॒व्याः । ज॒नि॒ताग्नेर्ज॑नि॒ता सूर्य॑स्य जनि॒तेन्द्र॑स्य जनि॒तोत विष्णोः॑
somaḥ pavate janitā matīnāṃ janitā divo janitā pṛthivyāḥ janitāgnerjanitā sūryasya janitendrasya janitota viṣṇoḥ
Soma is the begetter of minds, begetter of heaven, begetter of earth; he begot Agni, begot the Sun, begot Indra, begot Vishnu.
The Soma flows, the genitive rator of praises, the genitive rator of heaven, the genitive rator of the earth, the genitive rator of Agni, the genitive rator of the sun, the genitive rator of Indra, and the genitive rator of Viṣṇu.
Father of holy hymns, Soma flows onward the Father of the earth, Father of heaven: Father of Agni, Surya's generator, the Father who begat Indra and Visnu.
