eṣa sya somaḥ pavate sahasrajiddhinvāno vācamiṣirāmuṣarbudham induḥ samudramudiyarti vāyubhirendrasya hārdi kalaśeṣu sīdati
This Soma, spreading a thousandfold strength, bears speech like a freshly washed banner. Indu rises like the sea; by winds Indra's glory sits in the vessels' rims.
This is the Soma, the conqueror of thousands, who flows stimulating the rapid voice (of the priests), awakened at dawn; Indu sends forth his ocean and sinks into the pitchers into Indra's heart.
Winner of thousands, he, this Soma, flows along, raising a vigorous voice that wakens with the dawn. Indu with winds drives on the ocean of the air, he sinks within the jars, he rests in Indra's heart.
