स॒हस्र॑धारं वृष॒भं प॑यो॒वृधं॑ प्रि॒यं दे॒वाय॒ जन्म॑ने । ऋ॒तेन॒ य ऋ॒तजा॑तो विवावृ॒धे राजा॑ दे॒व ऋ॒तं बृ॒हत्
sahasradhāraṃ vṛṣabhaṃ payovṛdhaṃ priyaṃ devāya janmane ṛtena ya ṛtajāto vivāvṛdhe rājā deva ṛtaṃ bṛhat
May He who bears a thousand (beings), the bull, the source of milk, dear to the gods at birth—by the ordinance of Rta, born of Rta, the king of gods upheld the great Rta.
Thousand-streamed, showererof benefits, augmenter of water, affectionate; (pour it forth) for the race of the gods which water-born is fostered by the water, the king, the god, the true, the great.
Increaser of the water, Steer with thousand streams, dear to the race of Deities; Who born in Law hath waxen mighty by the Law, King, God, and lofty Ordinance.
