आ प॑प्राथ महि॒ना वृष्ण्या॑ वृष॒न्विश्वा॑ शविष्ठ॒ शव॑सा । अ॒स्माँ अ॑व मघव॒न्गोम॑ति व्र॒जे वज्रि॑ञ्चि॒त्राभि॑रू॒तिभिः॑
ā paprātha mahinā vṛṣṇyā vṛṣanviśvā śaviṣṭha śavasā asmām̐ ava maghavangomati vraje vajriñcitrābhirūtibhiḥ
He sought with might the abundant cows, the strong ones, all the best of wealth. May the wealthy-minded go forth; may the splendours of the vajra, famed with varied glories, proceed for us.
Mightiest showerer (of blessings), you have filled all (our hosts) with your vast bountiful power; OMaghavan, thunderer, guard us with your manifold protections, (when we march) against the well-stockedcowpen of our enemies.
O Indra, with thy right hand bring, and with thy left remember us. Let us not lose our share of wealth.
