A wolf of theirs, a boar of the plowed fields, a wild ass among winds, adorns our chariot; accept this hymn for us, O Indra, with manifold thought and mind.

The obstructing robber, the destroyer of travelling enemies, is obedient to him in hiw ways; hasten,Indra, (drawn) by our gorgeous rite, welcoming this our hymn.

Strong as the gbhus at thy birth, therewith to those who praise thee, men, And women, bring thou food to eat.
