उ॒ग्रबा॑हुर्म्रक्ष॒कृत्वा॑ पुरंद॒रो यदि॑ मे शृ॒णव॒द्धव॑म् । व॒सू॒यवो॒ वसु॑पतिं श॒तक्र॑तुं॒ स्तोमै॒रिन्द्रं॑ हवामहे
ugrabāhurmrakṣakṛtvā puraṃdaro yadi me śaṛṇavaddhavam vasūyavo vasupatiṃ śatakratuṃ stomairindraṃ havāmahe
If Purandara (the Slayer of forts) makes my strong-armed protector hear, we invoke Indra, the best of givers, the possessor of wealth, with a hundred-fold sacrifice through hymns.
If the strong-armed slayer of enemies, the destroyer of cities, will but hear my invocation, we, desiringwealth, will with our praises call one Indra Śatakratu, the lord of wealth.
With reverence they drain the fount that circles with its wheel above, Exhaustless, with the mouth below.
