Approach for our sake, like one who seeks Indra with offerings. He who brings riches from the ancient seers, Purūvas, instructs with a thousandfold teaching.

I would praise to you the bounteous Indra as is fit, the wealth- abounding Maghavan, who loves to helpwith thousandfold treasure those who praise him.

AGNI, come hither with thy fires; we choose thee as Invoking Priest. Let the extended ladle full of oil balm thee, best Priest, to sit on sacred grass.
