Protectors, O gods, speak over us: let not sleep seize us, nor chatter nor falsehood. We are the universal lovers of Soma, valiant-spirited; may we speak the wide truth.
Guardian gods, speak favourably to us; let no dreams nor the censurer overpower us; may we be everdear to Soma; possessed of brave offspring, may we utter our hymn.
Give us your blessing, O ye Gods' preservers. Never may sleep or idle talk control us. But evermore may we, as friends of Soma, speak to the synod with brave sons around us.
