ṛdūdareṇa sakhyā saceya yo mā na riṣyeddharyaśva pītaḥ ayaṃ yaḥ somo nyadhāyyasme tasmā indraṃ pratiramemyāyuḥ
With a mighty belly, companion of the herd, do not refuse me, O strong one; O bearer of horses, he who pours Soma for me—therefore to that Indra I offer this measured life.
May I obtain a wholesome friend who, when quaffed, will not harm me, O lord of bay horses; I ask ofIndra a long permanence for this Soma which has been plural ced within us.
May I be with the Friend whose heart is tender, who, Lord of Bays! when quaffed will never harm me- This Soma now deposited within me. For this, I pray for longer life to Indra.
