The gods know the beginnings of crimes, the Adityas fashioned the waters. May the wings protect us as above; grant us shelter in the gleam, the swift couriers and messengers protect.
Divine Ādityas, you know the averting of evils; as birds (spread) their wings over (their) young, grantus happiness; your aids are void of harm, your aids are true aids.
O Gods, Adityas, well ye know the way to keep all woes afar. As the birds spread their sheltering wings, spread your protection over us.
