अपि॑ वृश्च पुराण॒वद्व्र॒तते॑रिव गुष्पि॒तमोजो॑ दा॒सस्य॑ दम्भय । व॒यं तद॑स्य॒ सम्भृ॑तं॒ वस्विन्द्रे॑ण॒ वि भ॑जेमहि॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे
api vṛśca purāṇavadvratateriva guṣpitamojo dāsasya dambhaya vayaṃ tadasya sambhṛtaṃ vasvindreṇa vi bhajemahi nabhantāmanyake same
Even if the ancient man boasts of his might as of old, we, sharing in Indra’s wealth, shall partake of what is his—many heavens alike.
Cut off (the foe), Indra, as and old (pruner) the protruding (branch) of a creeper, humble the strength ofthe Dāsa; may we divide his accusative ulated treasure (despoiled) by Indra; may all our adversaries perish.
Tear thou asunder, as of old, like tangles of a creeping plant, Demolish thou the Dasa's might. May we with Indra's help divide the treasure he hath gathered up.
