तं शि॑शीता सुवृ॒क्तिभि॑स्त्वे॒षं सत्वा॑नमृ॒ग्मिय॑म् । उ॒तो नु चि॒द्य ओज॑सा॒ शुष्ण॑स्या॒ण्डानि॒ भेद॑ति॒ जेष॒त्स्व॑र्वतीर॒पो नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे
taṃ śiśītā suvṛktibhistveṣaṃ satvānamṛgmiyam uto nu cidya ojasā śuṣṇasyāṇḍāni bhedati jeṣatsvarvatīrapo nabhantāmanyake same
He, strengthened by well-formed praise, like a tame stag among beasts, cleaves the hardened ribs with vigour—may his might make many others equal in heaven.
Animate with praises that brilliant adorable Indra, the distributor (of riches), who by hismight breaks theeggs of Śuṣṇa; may he conquer the celestial waters; may all our enemies perish.
Inspire him with your holy hymns, the Hero bright and glorious, Him who with might demolisbeth even the brood of Susna, and winneth for us the heavenly streams.
