When you delight in the foam, the stag, the dark and the bright, O Indra, with the Kanvas and with the Brahmans you accept hymns; take what these bring.
Inasmuch, Indra, as you have been exhilarated in the society of Ruma, Ruśama, Śyāvaka and Kṛpa,so the Kaṇvas, bearers of oblations, attract you with their praises, (therefore) come here.
Or, Indra, when with Ruma, Rusama, Syavaka, and Krpa thou rejoicest thee, Still do the Kanvas, bringing praises, with their prayers, O Indra, draw thee hither: come.
