यो अ॒ग्निः स॒प्तमा॑नुषः श्रि॒तो विश्वे॑षु॒ सिन्धु॑षु । तमाग॑न्म त्रिप॒स्त्यं म॑न्धा॒तुर्द॑स्यु॒हन्त॑मम॒ग्निं य॒ज्ञेषु॑ पू॒र्व्यं नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे
yo agniḥ saptamānuṣaḥ śrito viśveṣu sindhuṣu tamāganma tripastyaṃ mandhāturdasyuhantamamagniṃ yajñeṣu pūrvyaṃ nabhantāmanyake same
This Agni, the seventh man, was placed among all the streams; he reaches Tripasta, slays the blind Dasyus—he set forth Agni before sacrifices to many heavens alike.
Let us approach that Agni who is ministered to by seven priess; who takes refuge in all rivers, who hasa triple dwelling plural ce, the slayer of the Dasyu for Mandhātā, who is foremost in sacrifices; may all ouradversaries perish.
Agni who liveth in all streams, Lord of the Sevenfold Race of men, Him dweller in three homes we seek, best slayer of the Dasytis for Mandhatar, first in sacrifice. Let all the others die away.
