O Agni, with fresh words praise their bodies; the bringer of prosperity drives away adversity, all nobly repelling unrighteousness to many heavens alike.
(Propitiated), Agni, by our new praise baffle the hostile attempts of these against our person ns, consumethe enemies of those who are liberal (at sacred rites); may all our foolish assailants depart from here, may all ouradversaries perish.
Agni, burn down the word within their bodies through our newest speech, All hatreds of the godless, all the wicked man's malignities. Away let the destroyers go. May all the others die away.
