You who are steadfast and youthful, with single desire and Shachi’s sway and all‑opening glories, drink the midday Soma of the sacrificers, O strong one.
You alone, Indra, lord of rites, separate the combined worlds (heaven and earth) with all yourprotections; slayer of Vṛtra, irreproachable wielder of the thunderbolt, drink of the Soma at the mid-daysolemnity.
Thou only sunderest these two consistent worlds, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.
