śyāvāśvasya sunvatastathā śaṛṇu yathāśaṛṇoratreḥ karmāṇi kṛṇvataḥ pra trasadasyumāvitha tvameka innṛṣāhya indra brahmāṇi vardhayan
Hear, like the neighing of his black steed, and do deeds here as the listener does; by terrifying dread you alone, O invoker, increase for the men their heroic might, Indra, strengthening the realms.
Hear (the praises) of Śyāvāśva offering the libations, as you have heard (those) of Atri engaged inholy rites; you alone, Indra, have defended Trasadasyu in battle, animating his prayers.
Hear thou Syavagva while he pours to thee, as erst thou heardest Atri when he wrought his holy rites. Indra, thou only gavest Trasadasyu aid in the fierce fight with heroes, strengthening his prayers.
