O Brahman, you have conquered, you have won; with your mind you have safeguarded the slain; you have set forth the protection like a ritual. With the company of dawn, of Ushas, of Surya and Soma — O Ashvins, grant us listening praise.
Be propitious to prayer, be propitious to sacred rites, slay the rākṣasas, remedy diseases united withthe dawn and with Sūrya, (drink), Aśvins, the Soma of the offerer.
Give spirit to our prayer and animate our thoughts; slay ye the Raksasas and drive away disease. Accordant, of One mind with Surya and with Dawn, -the presser's Soma, Asvins drink.
