svaranti tvā sute naro vaso nireka ukthinaḥ kadā sutaṃ tṛṣāṇa oka ā gama indra svabdīva vaṃsagaḥ
They sing of thee, O pressed one; men, possessors of wealth, sing alone with hymns. When will he, O Thirst, come to the pressed drink—Indra, resplendent, with the shaft of praise?
The leaders (of rites), repeating praises, shout to you, Vasu, when the libation issues forth; when, Indra, bellowing like a bull, do you come to the dwelling thirsting fo the Soma?
Men, Vasu! by the Soma, with lauds call thee to the foremost place: When comest thou athirst unto the juice as home, O Indra, like a bellowing bull?
