You have extirpated Vṛtra with your mighty weapons; you have been the destroyer of the deceptiveArbuda and Ṃgaya; you have extricated the cattle from the mountain.

Thou from the lofty plains above, O Indra, hurledst Vrtra down. Thou dravest forth the kine of guileful Mrgaya and Arbuda from the mountain's hold.
