ये चार्ह॑न्ति म॒रुतः॑ सु॒दान॑वः॒ स्मन्मी॒ळ्हुष॒श्चर॑न्ति॒ ये । अत॑श्चि॒दा न॒ उप॒ वस्य॑सा हृ॒दा युवा॑न॒ आ व॑वृध्वम्
ye cārhanti marutaḥ sudānavaḥ smanmīḷhuṣaścaranti ye ataścidā na upa vasyasā hṛdā yuvāna ā vavṛdhvam
Those whom the Marut destroys, the fierce demons, they fell upon us with clutching; they came not with deceit but opened the heart of the young man here.
Youthful (Maruts), approaching us with benevolent hearts, grant prosperity to those liberal men whoworship you, who zealously propitiate you, the showerers of rain, with oblations.
And these the bounteous, worthy of the Maruts who move onward pouring down the rain- Even for their sake, O Youthful Ones, with kindest heart take us to you to be your own.
