प्र सु स्तोमं॑ भरत वाज॒यन्त॒ इन्द्रा॑य स॒त्यं यदि॑ स॒त्यमस्ति॑ । नेन्द्रो॑ अ॒स्तीति॒ नेम॑ उ त्व आह॒ क ईं॑ ददर्श॒ कम॒भि ष्ट॑वाम
pra su stomaṃ bharata vājayanta indrāya satyaṃ yadi satyamasti nendro astīti nema u tva āha ka īṃ dadarśa kamabhi ṣṭavāma
Offer the hymn, O Bharata, sing the praises to Indra if truth exists. If Indra is present, let him be; he who established the law I saw performing the rite I desired.
Offer fervently, may war-loving companions, true praise to Indra, if he truly exists; Nema says, "verilythere is no Indra", who has ever seen him? Whom shall we praise?
A hundred asses hath he given, a hundred head of fleecy sheep, A hundred slaves, and wreaths besides.
