They fashioned the wide world for the sacrifice, creating the sun and its fire. O men, do not overthrow the lord of the offering or the steers on the broad paths of oblation.
You two, Indra and Viṣṇu, have made the spacious world for the sake of sacrifice, genitive rating the sun,the dawn, Agni; you leaders (of rites) have baffled the devices of the slave Vṛsaśipra in the conflict of hosts.
Ye have made spacious room for sacrificing by generating Surya, Dawn, and Agni. O Heroes, ye have conquered in your battles even the bull-jawed Dasa's wiles and magic.
