स वा॑वृधे॒ नर्यो॒ योष॑णासु॒ वृषा॒ शिशु॑र्वृष॒भो य॒ज्ञिया॑सु । स वा॒जिनं॑ म॒घव॑द्भ्यो दधाति॒ वि सा॒तये॑ त॒न्वं॑ मामृजीत
sa vāvṛdhe naryo yoṣaṇāsu vṛṣā śiśurvṛṣabho yajñiyāsu sa vājinaṃ maghavadbhyo dadhāti vi sātaye tanvaṃ māmṛjīta
She increased for men, in women and in bulls and calves, in ritual practitioners; she gave strength and bounty to the generous, sustaining me—she granted me vigour.
The showerer Sarasvat, the friend of man, a showerer (of benefits), even while yet a child, continuallyincreases among his adorable wives (the rains); he bestows upon the affluent (worshippers) a vigorous son; hepurifies their person ns (to fit them) for the reception (of his bounties).
Friendly to man he grew among the women, a strong young Steer amid the Holy Ladies. He gives the fleet steed to our wealthy princes, and decks their bodies for success in battle.
