ता सा॑न॒सी श॑वसाना॒ हि भू॒तं सा॑कं॒वृधा॒ शव॑सा शूशु॒वांसा॑ । क्षय॑न्तौ रा॒यो यव॑सस्य॒ भूरेः॑ पृ॒ङ्क्तं वाज॑स्य॒ स्थवि॑रस्य॒ घृष्वेः॑
tā sānasī śavasānā hi bhūtaṃ sākaṃvṛdhā śavasā śūśuvāṃsā kṣayantau rāyo yavasasya bhūreḥ pṛṅktaṃ vājasya sthavirasya ghṛṣveḥ
They, the pleasant resters, are like buried offerings; together with the elders they have spread the slain ones’ feasts. The wealth of kine grows, the abundant prize for the vigorous, the store of fatness.
You two are desired of all, the demolishers of (hostile) strength, augmenting together, increasing invigour, lords of the wealth of corn; do you grant us substantial invigorating food.
For ye were strong to gain, exceeding mighty, growing together, waxing in your vigour. Lords of the pasture filled with ample riches, bestow upon us strength both fresh and lasting.
