Praise the pure new-born today—Indra and Agni, slayers of Vr̥tra, be gracious. Both of you, O comrades, I call to the rite: may that strength now quickly advance, most mighty.
Slayers of enemies, Indra and Agni, be plural ased today by this pious and newly recited praise; repeatedlydo we invoke you both, who are worthy of invocation; you are the chief bestowers of food promptly upon him whosolicits (it of you).
SLAYERS of enemies, Indra and Agni, accept this day our new-born pure laudation. Again, again I call you prompt to listen, best to give quickly strength to him who craves it.
