If any of this divine Varuṇa has opposed men, know not that — your Law is unwavering; may you not be hostile to us, O godly seer.
Whatever the offence which we men commit Varuṇa against divine beings, whatever law of yours wemay through ignorance violate, do not you, divine Varuṇa, punish us on account of that iniquity.
O Varuna, whatever the offence may be which we as men commit against the heavenly host, When through our want of thought we violate thy laws, punish us not, O God, for that iniquity.
