Varuṇa loosened the fetter that was wasting upon the earth; from the regions of the waters may you fall upon us, O Sun, with blessings, always.
While dwelling in these durable worlds, may Varuṇa loose our bonds; may we be enjoyers of theprotection (which has been given by him) from the lap of Aditi, and do you (gods) ever cherish us with blessingṣ
While we abide in these fixed habitations, and from the lap of Aditi win favour, May Varuna untie the bond that binds us. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
