When Varuṇa steered the ship to the middle of the salt sea, and when the waters moved forth with foam, may he spread auspiciousness and send favourable wind.
When (I, Vasiṣṭha) and Varuṇa ascend the ship together when we send it forth into the midst of theocean, when we proceed over the waters with swift (sailing vessels), then may we both undulate happily in theprosperous swing.
When Varuna and I embark together and urge our boat into the midst of ocean, We, when we ride o'er ridges of the waters, will swing within that swing and there be happy.
