प्र शु॒न्ध्युवं॒ वरु॑णाय॒ प्रेष्ठां॑ म॒तिं व॑सिष्ठ मी॒ळ्हुषे॑ भरस्व । य ई॑म॒र्वाञ्चं॒ कर॑ते॒ यज॑त्रं स॒हस्रा॑मघं॒ वृष॑णं बृ॒हन्त॑म्
pra śundhyuvaṃ varuṇāya preṣṭhāṃ matiṃ vasiṣṭha mīḷhuṣe bharasva ya īmarvāñcaṃ karate yajatraṃ sahasrāmaghaṃ vṛṣaṇaṃ bṛhantam
May I be agreeable to Varuṇa at dusk; Vasiṣṭha, grant this first and foremost thought and fill with harmony the priestly assembly. He who performs rites and thousand offerings, the great bull—
Offer pure and acceptable praise, Vasiṣṭha to the showerer, Varuṇa, he who makes the adorable(sun), the donor of thousands, the showerer (of benefits), the vast, manifest before (us).
PRESENT to Varuna thine hymn, Vasistha, bright, most delightful to the Bounteous Giver, Who bringeth on to us the Bull, the lofty, the Holy, laden with a thousand treasures.
