ति॒स्रो द्यावो॒ निहि॑ता अ॒न्तर॑स्मिन्ति॒स्रो भूमी॒रुप॑राः॒ षड्वि॑धानाः । गृत्सो॒ राजा॒ वरु॑णश्चक्र ए॒तं दि॒वि प्रे॒ङ्खं हि॑र॒ण्ययं॑ शु॒भे कम्
tisro dyāvo nihitā antarasmintisro bhūmīruparāḥ ṣaḍvidhānāḥ gṛtso rājā varuṇaścakra etaṃ divi preṅkhaṃ hiraṇyayaṃ śubhe kam
Three heavens are set above, three earths beneath, three above and three below — sixfold are the arrangements. The king Varuṇa held this golden glory in the sky and spread the auspicious treasure.
In him are deposited the three heavens, the three earths with their six seasons are shown in him; themost adorable, royal Varuṇa has made this golden sun undulating in the sky, he has made it to diffuse light.
On him three heavens rest and are supported, and the three earths are there in sixfold order. The wise King Varuna hath made in heaven that Golden Swing to cover it with glory.
