Around Varuṇa's domain the two streams gaze — they both behold the rains together. Poets, faithful to ṛta, wise in sacrifice, desire with thinking minds the settled purpose.
The excellent spies of Varuṇa behold the beautiful heaven and earth, as well as those (men) who, thecelebrators of rites, constant in sacrifice, wise and intelligent address (to him their) praise.
Varuna's spies, sent forth upon their errand, survey the two world-halves well formed and fashioned. Wise are they, holy, skilled in sacrifices, the furtherers of the praise-songs of the prudent.
