May Indra, Varuna, Mitra, Aryaman bestow upon us great glory. We call the radiant day-star’s law, the hymn of the god Savitr, the light of the sun; we have invoked it with prayer.
May Indra, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman grant us wealth and a large and spacious mansion; may the lustreof Aditi, the augmentress (of sacrifice), be innoxious to us; we recite the praise of the divine Savitā.
May Indra, Varuna, Mitra, and Aryaman vouchsafe us glory and great shelter spreading far. We think of the beneficent light of Aditi, and Savitar's song of praise, the God who strengthens Law.
