त इद्दे॒वानां॑ सध॒माद॑ आसन्नृ॒तावा॑नः क॒वयः॑ पू॒र्व्यासः॑ । गू॒ळ्हं ज्योतिः॑ पि॒तरो॒ अन्व॑विन्दन्स॒त्यम॑न्त्रा अजनयन्नु॒षास॑म्
ta iddevānāṃ sadhamāda āsannṛtāvānaḥ kavayaḥ pūrvyāsaḥ gūḷhaṃ jyotiḥ pitaro anvavindansatyamantrā ajanayannuṣāsam
Thus from the law of the gods came near the truthful poets without falsehood; the fathers discovered hidden light and brought forth the holy counsels and ordinances.
Those ancient sages, our ancestors, observant of truth, rejoicing together with the gods, discovered thehidden ligh, and, reciters of sincere prayers, they genitive rated the Dawn.
They were the Gods' companions at the banquet, the ancient sages true to Law Eternal. The Fathers found the light that lay in darkness, and with effectual words begat the Morning.
