वा॒जिनी॑वती॒ सूर्य॑स्य॒ योषा॑ चि॒त्राम॑घा रा॒य ई॑शे॒ वसू॑नाम् । ऋषि॑ष्टुता ज॒रय॑न्ती म॒घोन्यु॒षा उ॑च्छति॒ वह्नि॑भिर्गृणा॒ना
vājinīvatī sūryasya yoṣā citrāmaghā rāya īśe vasūnām ṛṣiṣṭutā jarayantī maghonyuṣā ucchati vahnibhirgṛṇānā
The radiant maid of the sun, adorned and wondrous, rules the treasures. Exhausting old age, the shower of riches rises, as fires brightly roar among the tribes.
The bride Sūrya, the distributress (of food), the possessor of wonderful wealth, she rules overtreasures (of every kind) of riches; hymned by the ṛṣis, the waster away of life, the mistress of opulence, sherises glorified by the offerers (of oblations).
She who is rich in spoil, the Spouse of Surya, wondrously opulent, rules all wealth and treasures. Consumer of our youth, the seers extol her: lauded by priests rich Dawn shines out refulgent.
