Approaching the fire, bring protection to us; harnessed and girded with strong reins, O wide-handed ones. Do not crush our enmities brought by jealous ones; come to us endowed with auspiciousness.
May those two, the bearers (of oblations), approach our people, destroyers of rākṣasas,well-nourished, strong-handed; accept our exhilarating (sacrificial) viands; injure us not, but come with goodfortune.
And these Two Priests come nigh unto our people, united, demon-slayers, mighty-handed. The juices that exhilarate are mingled. Injure us not, but come with happy fortune.
