Men like bulls of splendor, lightning-quick, come with thirst today to the assembly. Sons indeed gain your counsels by praise; do not let others, worshippers of Yama, oppose you.
Leaders of rites, like (thirsty) cattle, thirsting for the radiant (Soma), hasten today to our sacrifice; inmany ceremonies do the pious propitiate you with praises; let not other devout worshippers detain you.
Like the wild cattle thirsty for the lightning, Heroes, come nigh this day to our libations. Men call on you with hymns in many places, but let not other worshippers detain you.
