ए॒ष स्य का॒रुर्ज॑रते सू॒क्तैरग्रे॑ बुधा॒न उ॒षसां॑ सु॒मन्मा॑ । इ॒षा तं व॑र्धद॒घ्न्या पयो॑भिर्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
eṣa sya kārurjarate sūktairagre budhāna uṣasāṃ sumanmā iṣā taṃ vardhadaghnyā payobhiryūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
This one is the famed singer with wise hymns at dawn; may the radiant Morning increase him. May this strengthen him with milky streams; bring welfare to us always.
This your devoted worshipper, wwaking before the dawn, praises with hymns; nourish him with food,and let the cow (nourish him) with her milk; and do you ever cherish us with blessings.
With his fair hymns this singer, too, extols you, waking with glad thoughts at the break of morning. May the cow nourish him with milk to feed llim. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
