udveti prasavītā janānāṃ mahānketurarṇavaḥ sūryasya samānaṃ cakraṃ paryāvivṛtsanyadetaśo vahati dhūrṣu yuktaḥ
The ocean, a mighty banner of the people, surged forth at the birth of the Sun; the wheel rolled equally and opened round, and the swift-flowing current carried the vigorous one bound together.
The animator of men arises, the great rain-shedding banner of Sūrya rolling on the universal wheel, which the white steeds yoked to his car drag along.
Surya's great ensign, restless as the billow, that urgeth men to action, is advancing: Onward he still would roll the wheel well-rounded, which Etasa, harnessed to the car-pole, moveth.
