May the abodes of Mitra and Varuṇa be calm, the radiant rivers bound with greatness; these months, these names of offerings, brave ones protect the sacrificial courtyard and keep away strife.
Praise the splendour of Mitra and Varuṇa, whose strength, by its might, keeps heaven and earthasunder; may the days of those who differ not worship pass without male descendants; amy he who delights insacrifice increase in prosperity.
I praise the strength of Varuna and Mitra that strength, by mightiness, keeps both worlds asunder. Heroless pass the months of the ungodly he who loves sacrifice makes his home enduring.
